2 Years Supporting the Community
On February 22nd, the Nous Vendons Votre Maison Agency celebrated its 2nd anniversary... 2 years of supporting people in our community. We are so proud of it!
When we created Nous Vendons Votre Maison in February 2021, we wanted to create an agency with a unique model in every respect. Our goal was to create a team of real estate professionals who care about the well-being of their community. Why do we want to do this? To enrich the daily lives of organizations and foundations that serve men, women, children and families.
The Owen team was quick to respond to the invitation from Nous Vendons Votre Maison. In fact, they have been giving to others for many years. Their first experiences? Bringing a little warmth to people who are homeless during the winter days. A bowl of soup, a cup of coffee, a coat to keep warm... through these small gestures, the members of the Owen Team have brought smiles to the faces of people going through difficult times. In 2022 Kevin Owen, Team Leader of the Owen Team, personally donated $2000 to Centre d'action bénévole L'Actuel, in Vaudreuil-Dorion. The donation provided Christmas gifts to a family of six and groceries for individuals and family who use the services provided by the foundation.
$135,000 to Organizations and Foundations:
Since its inception, Nous Vendons Votre Maison has donated $135,000 to organizations and foundations. This amount comes from a portion of the compensation of the brokers who make up all the real estate teams, including the Owen team. On March 8, 2021, the day the real estate agency was launched, Nous Vendons Votre Maison donated $25,000 to the Old Brewery Mission in Montreal. The choice of the organization, which works with people experiencing homelessness, was made by the Owen team.
The agency will continue this mission for a long time to come. But it is looking beyond that. We plan to build a residence that will become the home of children followed under the Youth Protection Act.

A Real Estate Agency That Gives Back
Nous Vendons Votre Maison donated $25,000 to the Old Brewery Mission in Montreal on March 8, 2021. This donation, on International Women's Day, was fitting. The Old Brewery Mission helps homeless women take control of their lives and their rightful place in the community. At the time, Old Brewery Mission President and CEO James Hughes highlighted the real estate agency's role in helping people experiencing homelessness.
Make a Difference!
Nous Vendons Votre Maison has come a long way in the past 2 years. In February 2021, 8 real estate brokers were making a difference in the community by donating a portion of their compensation to organizations and foundations. Today, 89 brokers are behind the Serve Big!
