Ongoing Support for Youth in Montérégie

For several years, Nous Vendons Votre Maison has been a proud supporter of L’Élan des jeunes, a youth shelter located in Châteauguay (West Montérégie). The shelter is dedicated to offering transitional housing for youth aged 16 to 22 who are experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness.

Through compassionate care, tailored support, and guidance toward independence, the organization transforms lives and helps restore confidence in young people facing difficult circumstances.

L’Élan des jeunes offers both short-term stays (1 to 5 nights) and more stable housing phases (up to 3 months), all with 24/7 support, academic assistance, career counselling, and help transitioning to permanent housing.

Independence in Action: A Concrete Mission

Every day, the shelter provides a safe, respectful environment that upholds human dignity. Youth staying at the shelter receive comprehensive support, helping them work toward autonomy, stability, and reintegration into society.

It’s this human and inclusive approach that makes L’Élan des jeunes such a vital resource in the community.

Serve Big: Impact Beyond Real Estate

Our Serve Big program turns every real estate transaction into an opportunity to support life-changing causes. This July, thanks to your trust, a portion of our commission is donated to L’Élan des jeunes, helping support:

• Emergency and transitional housing

• Guidance toward independence

• Help with education or job searches

• Resources to break the cycle of homelessness
