Spring is Springing! I just came inside from shooting a video outside and WOW! It’s nice out! Yes, I realize that when you read this it may be cold and snowing, but the cold days are just about over.
Everyone loves Spring, primarily because it means no more shoveling or icy sidewalks to navigate and a chance to feel that warm air once again. This past year has been a challenge for so many of us, the need to get out and soak up some sun, chat with our neighbours as well as socialize with family and friends, are the activities we are eager to return to, even if it is 6 feet apart. Just like the weather, seasons come and go, as do the seasons of life. I just turned 61, my youngest has graduated from University and remained on the Dean’s List with an Honours Program in Criminology and Legal Justice. We are extremely proud of her accomplishments and we are pleased she has chosen to join our team until such time as she enters law school.
Our oldest daughter is a dedicated blogger and writer and is currently working on a series of novels. Her creativity is boundless! She has overcome many obstacles in her life, and we are very proud of all the accomplishments she has already achieved. My wife reminded me last night we have shared 36 birthdays together…the years just seem to speed by.
Just as the seasons come and go, we have all experienced highs and lows in our life. When we look back, we often learn the most from the tough times. All the experiences in our lives make us who we are today.
